Monitoring and maintaining security for an $83 million bank is a heavy responsibility that Veracity Technologies takes on with precision. Serving New Market Bank since the early 90s, Veracity has worked in conjunction with another vendor to maintain the bank's technical compliance and security.

The bank has sometimes used other vendors to compare against Veracity, but has found that Veracity services measure just as well as IT services that only focus on banks, according to Anita Drentlaw, network administrator.

Offering network management, technical support, software and hardware consulting and server monitoring, Veracity has earned the loyalty of New Market Bank to the point that it is at the top of the list for taking on new projects.

For example, when the bank has expanded to new locations or needed to adopt new technologies, Veracity has provided important business analysis and consulting. The company also aided in staff transitions when the bank's network administrator was deployed in the military for almost two years.

"I'd had some training but Veracity helped me understand more things and respond to clients," says Drentlaw, who stepped in as administrator. "I'm much more comfortable in an administrative role now."
